Last night we went to Whitney's house to celebrate Lindsey's birthday and say goodbye to Whitney as she leaves for the summer with her babe and husband for summer sales! BOO! We'll miss you Whit! It was a great night though. I love any chance I get to be with my girls and laugh hysterically. Unfortunately, I didn't get to stay long. Hadley is going through a pretty fussy stage lately. She is such a great sleeper, but once she is awake she either wants to eat or be fussy. She is such a good baby really she is, but lately she's been pretty fussy. I don't know if its her poor little tummy (she's pretty gassy) or the fact that she get's bored REALLY fast. She's also very easily stimulated. So once we are in a place she isn't familiar with, she just wants to be so involved and look at everything-but wont sleep. Even if she is overly tired. I've also done it to myself because Hadley loves loves LOVES her swing and loves taking naps in her swing. I know I know, you're all thinking "You better change that." And trust me, I will.
It's funny though, Haddy doesn't cry unless she is hungry. When she is fussy, she just gets uncomfortable and grunts. Poor girl, I know it's probably her tummy. So if anyone has some tips or tricks, let me know. but I can almost promise I've tried it all.
BUT THANK YOU WHIT. For teaching me something that Hadley absolutely loved. It was hilarious. Whit took Had out of my arms and started bouncing on a yoga ball with her. and Hadley was OUT! I guess babies with bad tummies looooove that movement. So thanks for changing my life Whit!
We still had so much fun though. We stayed for 2 hours til Hadley woke up and about had it. She was tired and wanted to go home. One day she will realize she can actually sleep anywhere and not just her bed. hahaha.
I can't wait to outgrow this stage because I would of loved to stay longer.
This girl right here is my very best friend. How lucky we were to be pregnant together. It was the best having someone go through it with me. Our constant complaints, Diet Coke and Dr Pepper runs, constant eating, morning sickness, back pain, waddling. Everything.
And now I get to look at her holding her sweet little girl, and say "It was all worth it". It's so fun to have babies 6 weeks apart.
