Merry Christmas

What a wonderful Christmas. I have been counting down to this day since January 1, and now I am so sad it is over. So many family parties and time spent with my husband- I'm a happy girl.

Christmas Eve is always my favorite. We spent it with my husbands family for dinner and my family for the rest of the night. I love sleeping over at my parents house! I have younger siblings so Christmas morning is still magical. My dad got this puzzle from my Grandma for Christmas and it was a 500 piece puzzle. Ask my husband how I feel about those- I'm obsessed. I dont know why, but I just am. We got our Christmas jammies from my mom and then we all did that puzzle. And when I say all I mean me and Shawn because everyone gave up 5 minutes into it! HA!!

Then we went to bed around 12:30 and were up at 5 to open presents! haha. I love Christmas! My cute husband spoiled me as well as my family and I got the camera I've been wanting forever! A Canon T3i Rebel. I am obsessed to say the least but geez it's complicated! My mom is so cute and spoiled our little girl too! She got some cute stuff!

We also got to skype my brother that is on a mission in the Netherlands right now and it was soooo good to see him! He is so happy and doing so good!

We then had a brunch with my moms side of the family.
Then a movie with my in laws.
And then dinner with my dads side of the family with a Christmas Present exchange.

And I just spent the day obsessing over my camera-as you can tell.

Baby Quin's first Christmas.

 Macen.

Her look. Kills me.

Mama and her twins.

Is it awful that we love this lip??

Bumpdate-28 weeks!

BUMPDATE

Gender: Girl

How far along are you?: 28 weeks
Her eyes are partially opened and those tiny eyelids are able to blink. She is able to recognize different levels of light. Even though she still is growing, she is getting chubbier as fat is developing under the wrinkled skin. The lungs are better prepared to breathe.

Size of the baby: 2 pounds and 14.8 inches from head to heels. About the size of an eggplant.

Movement?: Ohhhhh my heavens, YES! All the time. Kicking, moving, hiccups. You name it. I feel her all the time :) and so does daddy! My mom and brother have also felt her!!

Cravings?: I am currently craving crunch berries cereal, diet coke, and McDonalds breakfast! haha. So random.

Best moment this week: Seeing her on an ultrasound at the doctor. Gosh, I love her.

Daddy update: He is so cute and so supportive. Everytime we talk about her, he gets the biggest smile on his face. My favorite thing in the world, is when I catch him hanging out in the nursery. It's his favorite room in the house. I'll be doing eyelash extensions downstairs, and he just sits in the rocking chair for hours. He loves his little girl.

Recent Doctors Appointment: My last doctors appointment was just this week on Tuesday! (the 16th) and it was the Gestational Diabetes test with that yummy drink! And when I say yummy, all you moms out there know what I'm talking about ;) But to be honest, it was SOOOO not as bad as everyone made it sound. It was just super sugary! We also got to see her on an ultrasound and she was moving so much! She has the cutest little lips I've ever seen. She is perfect and right on schedule!

What I'm looking forward to: Focusing on HER again. With the busyness of the holidays, I haven't really focused on her. I've dedicated my time (and money) to other people and Christmas so I'm excited to get the nursery together and get things ready for her after Christmas is over!

Misc: I always thought pregnant people looked ridiculous when they walked. You know, the waddle! and I thought they were faking- but oh my gosh it is totally normal! I catch myself ''waddling'' sometimes and I just laugh. Bending over is really funny too and Shawn just laughs at me. Good thing I don't really have shoes that need to be tied, or he would be helping me. I also just bought maternity leggings and they are they best things that have ever happened to me. I can't believe how comfortable they are! And comfort is my best friend right now! I can't wait to get skinny again! But I know this is how it is! And I love the miracle of life and that I get to carry this perfect little angel. We love her so much. SO much.
I'm also grateful for a husband that is so perfect and supportive. Who works so hard to take care of me and her. Who works two jobs and goes to school full time. He is amazing. Perfect. Unbelievable and I can't wait to see him as a daddy. I also love that he will go with me to McDonalds at midnight just to get breakfast because it's the one thing I need. So we go to Kaysville McDonalds and they aren't selling breakfast yet so we drive to Layton, get home at 12:30 and go in our bed and eat our fat food. I love my husband.

We can't wait to meet you baby girl. :)

Simply Beautiful

Every day, I have moments that I sit there in awe about being a mom. Whether its the fact that I'm carrying a child and it's absolutely amazing to me, or the fact that in 3 short months there will be a little girl that is a part of me and Shawn. She will have my nose, or his ears; my eyes or his toes. It is absolutely beautiful that there is a special spirit waiting to come join me and Shawn and start 'our family'. Amazing.

A few weeks ago, my mom showed me this song by Garth Brooks and if you haven't heard it; you need to. NOW. I bawled when I heard it. Because I really cannot wait to be a mom. I have so much love for this little girl already. Every morning when I lay in bed, she moves like crazy & I love it. It's like she is telling me 'good morning'. And randomly during the day she will move and my heart just bursts. It's something I wish Shawn could experience but at the same time, I am so glad that I get this special time with her because for 9 months.. it IS just me and her. No one else. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to see her with her daddy.. but for right now.. I'll enjoy my special moments together.

These are the lyrics to the song. Go on youtube and look it up. Mom, by Garth Brooks. Read along. Its beautiful. Simply Beautiful.

Little baby told God, "hey I'm kind of scared.
Don't really know if I want to go down there.
From here it looks like a little blue ball
That's a great big place and I'm so small.

Why can't I just, stay here with you?
Did I make you mad, don't you want me too?"
God said oh child, of course I do
But there's somebody special waiting for you

So hush now baby, don't you cry
'Cause there's someone down there waiting whose only goal in life
Is making sure you're always gonna be alright
A loving angel tender, tough and strong
It's almost time to go and meet your mom.

You'll never have a better friend
Or a warmer touch to tuck you in
She'll kiss your bruises, your bumps and scrapes
And anytime you hurt
Her heart's gonna break

So hush now baby, don't you cry
'Cause there's someone down there waiting whose only goal in life
Is making sure you're always gonna be alright
A loving angel tender, tough and strong
It's almost time to go and meet your mom.

And when she's talking to you make sure you listen close
'Cause she's gonna teach you everything you'll ever need to know
Like how to mind your manners, to love and laugh and dream
She'll put you on the path that bring you back to me

So, hush now little baby, don't you cry
'Cause there's someone down there waiting whose only goal in life
Is making sure you're always gonna be alright
A loving angel tender, tough and strong
Come on child it's time, to meet your mom

Holly's Baby Shower

My cute best friend is a month and a half away from having her baby girl and I could not be more excited for her! Holly and I have always dream't of having our first babies together, and the fact that we are both having girls 7 weeks apart is a dream come true! Her pregnancy has gone by so fast! Which is good, because mine is going by so slow! So atleast I'll be able to snuggle her baby girl every day until my baby gets here!

The day I found out she was pregnant all I could think about was planning her the PERFECT baby shower! So after months of planning, me and a couple other girls pulled off the cutest shower for her! She had such a great turn out. So many good friends that love and support her! What a lucky girl!

Holly is going to be the cutest mama ever! Her baby girl sure got spoiled last night!

We love you baby Ross.

(Some girls not pictured. Cori, Biffer, Judy, Mary, and Taylee)

(also, shout out to my favorite cousin ever for re-doing my header on my blog. you rock Abbie.)

Bumpdate - 22 weeks.

Pregnancy Update

First Trimester: Not as bad as everyone said. My mom was so sick with me and I was terrified that I was going to be so sick while pregnant. But for the most part, it was the complete opposite. I definitely had my moments. Mornings were a little harder at the beginning but never bad enough that I threw up all the time. I was definitely nauseas when I didn't eat. I learned very quickly not to let myself go very long without food or I would be miserable. I did throw up a couple times but nothing crazy. Everytime I went to the doctor, I lost more and more weight. Which was strange because I wasn't as sick as my best friend (who was constantly throwing up) but I was definitely losing weight.

Tired. Tired. Tired. Holy moly. I had absolutely NO energy to do anything. All I wanted to do was sleep. And that's what I did.

Second Trimester: So far, fabulous! 'Morning Sickness' is totally gone. and food has never tasted so good! I haven't had any weird cravings other than I need a Diet Coke every day. The only thing that sucks are the headaches. I get them bad. Thank goodness for Diet Coke because Tylenol does nothing for me. My energy has come back! In fact, I always get random energy where all I want to do is clean the house, or cook a yummy dinner, or run a million errands which is SO not like me! My husband isn't complaining one bit tho ;)

Bumpdate:

Gender: Girl

How far along are you?: 22 weeks
She is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and tiny tooth buds are developing beneath the gums. 11 inches and almost 1 pound.

Size of the baby: Spaghetti Squash

Movement?: Yes! I feel her atleast a couple times a day.

Cravings?: Not really. At the beginning all I wanted was Zupas and steak. But I always need a diet coke. Pizza is really yummy too ;)  But I wouldn't say I have strong cravings.

Best moment this week: Feeling her move more and more!!

Daddy update: He is getting so excited about his little girl. I catch him staring at little girls all the time with the biggest smile on his face.

Recent Doctors Appointment: I am so lucky that Shawn has been to all but ONE doctors appointment so far! This last doctors appointment was the 'big' one! The ultrasound tech did it and this was the ultra sound where she measured everything to make sure she was progressing correctly. And she is absolutely perfect! Right on schedule. And moving soooo much!! It's fun to watch her move while we are having an ultra sound!

What I'm looking forward to: Halloween and the holidays with her next year! Also, snuggling her while watching Netflix. Because right now I am currently watching Netflix and can't wait to be snuggling her on the couch.

Misc: We are getting the nursery together! We have a rocking chair, a dresser, and a nightstand! Lots of whites and neutrals with a touch of light pink everywhere. I'm a very simple girl but love Shabby Chic so that's what is happening right now. We just brought home our stroller and car seat from the in-laws house. They are wonderful and got us that as a gift but no longer wanted it sitting in their house! haha. So now I can just stare at it all day :) I love spoiling my little girl. My mom calls her 'my doll' because you should see the clothes I have already gotten her. She can NEVER have too many clothes! But I would be lying if I said she didn't have a lot already.

We can't wait to meet you baby girl. :)

A life update- and Halloween!

Between working at the salon, doing eyelash extensions, and being pregnant.. obviously I've neglected the blog and its time for a little update on LIFE.

The past couple weeks have been busy busy busy! I absolutely love Fall. I love fall candles, fall decor, the cold. Everything about fall. So October has been a busy month!

I've also picked up a new hobby and it's doing eyelash extensions. And let me tell ya- I absolutely LOOOOVE it! I never thought I would love something more than doing hair. And that is saying something. Hair has always been my passion, but its such a good feeling when my clients are so happy with their eyelashes and they open their eyes for the first time and look in the mirror and say "OH MY GOSH I LOVE THEM!''. Not to brag or anything but I've also had ladies cry! Ha-ha. I love it. So cute. and such a blessing to make people feel and look so beautiful. Both in lashes, and doing their hair.

Now lets talk about the cutest twins in the world. My aunt just had a boy and a girl- Macen and Lillee. Such a blessing to have those sweet spirits in this world. The other day, I colored my aunts hair and while I colored her hair my mom and husband held her babies. Not only are they the cutest things in the world, but it was so precious watching Shawn take care of Lillee. He held her the whole time, fed her a bottle, and burped her. He will be the best daddy ever.

Sweet Little Lillee

I was also doing my friends eyelashes the other day, and she brought over her cute little girl Taylee and Shawn played with her. I think he's a little excited about having a girl ;)

(I also think this picture is funny because Taylee was so confused on who the strange man was that was holding her hahaha)

October kind of dragged for me to be honest. I don't know if it was because everyone was so 'pumped' for Halloween and I didn't really care for it, or if it's because I'm way too excited for Christmas. Either way, October was a slow month and as fun as Halloween is- I couldn't wait for it to be over. (Ba-humbug)

Shawn and I did the traditional carving pumpkins with our friends and a pizza party. That's always so fun to be with them. We have the greatest friends and so lucky that the husbands all get along as well!

And of course, you can't spend Halloween not dressing up! That's one thing I DO love about Halloween. It's one time a year, you can paint your face crazy and it's okay. Shawn and I always dress up. But all I could think about this Halloween was how excited I am for next year, when our little girl will be in a cute Halloween costume and mommy and daddy will match her! hahaha. Yes I am one of those crazies. But we love it.

This Halloween Shawn and I didn't want to sit home and pass out candy. BORING. So we dressed up and went to my parents house! But that too got boring because all my siblings were gone. My dad's brother was throwing a Halloween party and the twins were going to be there. How could I pass that up?? So Shawn and I spent the rest of the night there. Until 9 o'clock when conversations started to become a blur because this pregnant lady is tired 24/7. ;)

K but really? Look at those twins. They cannot be cuter!

Well that was October. :) Can't wait to see what November brings us. oh right. lots and lots of food. But I have a feeling November will be a long month too because I want Christmas SO BAD!

xoxo.

Blue or Pink, what do you think? // Gender Reveal Party

Lets talk about the longest week of my life shall we?

I know this post is a little late, but I'm finally not too busy to sit down and write.

June 16:
Shawn and I went to Fetal Fotos in Murray. And for those of you who dont know what Fetal Fotos is, its basically what it sounds like. Photos of babies. They can tell you the gender of your babe at 15 weeks. And so because I was way too anxious to find out, we paid the 60 bucks to find out the gender. When we got there we had to fill out some information and then the cutest lady took us back into the ultra sound room. Before I laid down on the bed, I told her "I don't want to know the gender. Will you just put it in an envelope? We are going to find it out with our friends and family in a couple days" So she was so up for it and excited. She had us close our eyes for a minute while she found the baby and then we opened them and I could NOT believe what I was looking at. The cutest little baby in the world. It was moving soooooo much. Kicking, flipping, waving it's hands, opening and closing its mouth. It was such a high-tech ultra sound and I was in HEAVEN!

She then had us close our eyes again while she got a clear shot of the ''parts''. haha. Her words, not mine. She kept laughing and saying "K your baby is a tease. It's either crossing it's legs, putting its hand down there, or the umbilical cord is in the way!" She then kept poking at my stomach to get the legs to spread apart and then said "OK I got the picture you can open now!"

I asked her if she was 110% Sure what the baby was.

And she was POSITIVE!

I freakin love my baby.

So, then later that night we went to Macy's and picked out a Boys outfit and a Girls outfit. I handed both to the cashier with the envelope of the gender and cash. I told her to open the envelope, buy whatever the gender is, and wrap it in a box along with the ultra sound, receipt, and change. She was thrilled. She actually started crying she was so happy! Haha. We left for ten minutes and came back all ready for us.

This box sat at my house for 5 days. 5 freakin days. It was killing me.

That following Sunday we had our gender reveal party! Friends and family came over to find out with us what the gender of our baby is.

I cant even begin to tell you guys how nervous I was to open the box! I would of been happy with either gender of course, but secretly I was hoping for a girl. At the party, I kept telling people I thought it would be a boy and only  lucky people get pregnant with girls. haha.

So once everyone was there, Shawn and I stood at the front opening the box. It felt like forever. When I finally peeked inside and saw the Grey and Pink jammies we picked out, I went NUTS! I was SCREAMING ''ITS A GIRL!!!! IT'S A GIRL!!!!'' while jumping up and down.

I CANT BELIEVE I AM HAVING A BABY GIRL!!!!

The best part about the whole things, my best friend and I are six weeks apart and she is having a little girl. Oh these two are already best friends and it's going to be so much fun planning our girls together.

We love you baby girl. so so so much.

Sep 11, 2014

Oh Baby!

Seriously?! Where in the world have I been!! I know it's been so so so long since I've updated my blog. And everytime I get on to update it, I tell all of you I'm going to be better and it never happens. But life has finally slowed down enough that I WILL do better!

So much has happened lately. I mean, not a ton, but a lot at one time.

Shawn and I moved into the cutest little townhome! We love it! It's nice to have our own place; a place we can call home for a little while. It's a fun ward. I actually grew up in this ward for 13 years and my grandma lives down the street! So it's so fun to see her all the time, especially on Sundays. We are completely moved in and settled (I mean settled enough to be comfortable). We still have decorating to do of course, but our living room has been my main focus lately because 1. its the room that everyone hangs out in and everyone sees right when they walk in and 2. Its the first room and probably only room that I decorate with holiday decor. With fall coming up right around the corner (or so I hope because I hate the heat) I absolutely LOOOVE fall decor. So get ready for some pictures whenever I get around to it.

Other than moving in, work has been really busy lately too. We just got over the 'back-to-school' week and that was a week from you-know-where. The busiest week of my life with haircuts and colors. Not to mention, I had the worst cold during that week so it was a lot for me. But I made it out alive and work is finally starting to slow down and get back to normal.

Shawn has been super busy too with work and school. I am so proud of him. He is such a hard worker. He strives every day to be better with work and school. I love getting texts/phone calls from him bragging about his test scores. He is studying his butt off and working so hard because he wants to get into the best medical school one day. And when I say best I mean the U of U because how great would that be to stay in Utah. We'll see how lucky we get!

Then of course, most of you (if not all of you) know that there is a BABY ON THE WAY!

I have been dying to tell you all about the baby so far! I'll give you the ''bump-date'' in a different blog post, but I'll tell you all how we found out! Craziest story..

The Day We Knew It Was Time:
So, a little while ago,  I just felt like it was time. I pushed away the baby hunger and really focused on if this was our time or if I was just wanting one because all my friends were getting pregnant. After really thinking about it and praying about it, I felt like it was time to be a mom. That life was settled enough to be a mom and this was my calling

Once I brought it up with Shawn, he said no way. HAHA! Typical right? But I wasn't mad about it. I knew that if I could get feeling and answer that it was time, so would Shawn on HIS timing. So I told him when he was ready, I would like to go to the temple about it.

Weeks went by and my family wanted to go to the temple together. Without saying anything to Shawn, he mentioned that we should pray about it while we are there. I thought I would be excited to hear those words, and don't get me wrong, I totally was. But I was mostly nervous. Scared. I was nervous because I knew the answer he would get and all of a sudden "Emily, this is real. Are you sure you're ready?" popped into my head.

When we went to the temple, we had something very special happen inside. I can't find the words to describe it. Crazy? Unreal? Special? Amazing? I mean, they all explain it. It was insane. But because it is so special to us, I don't want to write it on a blog post for the world to read. If you want to know, I will be more than happy to share it with you but for now in this blog for the whole world, I feel as if it is to sacred to share. But just know there were many tears and obviously we got the answer that it was time.

So when we decided to start trying I knew it was going to take a while. Doesn't it for most couples? Oh not us! hahahaha. Maybe that's why I call it more of surprise baby-even though we wanted it.

The Day I Found Out:
It was 2 days before I was supposed to start my period. (TMI? Sorry) and I was texting my best friend Holly. She basically convinced me to come over to her house and take a test. After work, I went and bought a test and went straight to her house. Did my thing, walked out and placed it upside down on her table. I could NOT get myself to look at it. Might I add: She is pregnant too and all we ever wanted was to be pregnant at the same time so of course I was so nervous to see the results.

I went and sat on her couch and we just kept laughing. SO NERVOUS. A few minutes went by and I finally decided to just look. I walked so slow over to her counter as we continued to laugh our heads off. When I flipped it over and looked down and saw two VERY bold pink lines, I brought my hand up to my mouth to cover it because I was in complete shock. I looked at Holly, looked back down, looked back up and Holly and she said "NO WAY!" and ran over to me. I started laughing so hard. We both did. We could not even handle the fact that I AM PREGNANT! I remember collapsing to the floor because I was laughing so hard!! A rush of love for my baby came over me. Something I have never felt before. I remember yelling "I'M GOING TO BE A MOM!'' Holly and I immediately got in the car for some reason and drove around. Thinking of ways to tell Shawn. Our dream come true!!

How I Told Shawn:
This is awful, but I actually told our friends Jake and Mary before I told Shawn too! Haha. We were going to dinner with them that night and Mary knew I was taking a test. So when we were at dinner with them, they knew the whole time and Shawn didnt! It was hilarious.

So when we got home, I told Shawn that I had a surprise for him and to go sit on the couch and close his eyes. Gosh, I was nervous! hahahah.
I placed this on the coffee table in front of him:

When he opened his eyes and saw that he just stared at it. And I started laughing and said Babe, I'm pregnant! He was so cute about it. But yet so nervous! We went to the store right after and I remember dead silence the whole drive over. hahaha. Trust me, he has definitely warmed up to it now. and he is the cutest about being a dad. SO excited! But it's big news to a man at first and it did happen so fast!

How We Told Our Families:
Sunday dinner the following sunday was at my parents house and I decided I didn't care that I was still pretty early. I wanted to tell my family. I gave my Dad the onesie and my mom the diet coke:

They were over the moon excited!! My siblings were in heaven. Just the reaction I hoped for!!

His family: We actually had to wait a while to tell them because his mom was in California for work and we wanted to tell them all at the same time. So we flew out with my father in law and sister in law and met up with my mother in law for a trip to Disneyland! It was so much fun. And we told them when we got to the hotel! They were really excited too! So yes, I went to Disneyland pregnant. Disneyland wasn't bad at all. I actually could ride most of the rides! Six flags was another story; couldn't ride one ride. but it was ok. It was so hot, I was fine just hanging out in the shade.

How We Told Everyone Else:
I wanted to tell my extended family first, so they didn't find out through social media. and it worked out perfectly. The day after we got back from Disneyland, my family had a lagoon day so I told them all there! My grandpa was so excited. I have two aunts that are pregnant right now. One pregnant with twins and is due in October and my other aunt is pregnant with a little boy and due in January. And then I'm due in March! So there will be 4 little babies running around together!

YOU GUYS! I am so excited to be a mom. Some days I am so nervous, but thats what's so great about 9 months. I become more 'ready' every day. I heard the heartbeat a week ago and it was so cute. Its surreal that I am carrying a baby. Even though I don't have a belly yet, it's there. And I love him/her so much already.
Our world is about to change. But I can't wait. I have always wanted to be a mom and I can't wait to watch Shawn be a daddy.

a zillion laughs

several late night drives just to be together
365 best days.

And that's not all.

This past year has easily been the best year of my life. Starting with Shawn coming home from his mission, getting married, and spending every day with my best friend- I'd say we've had a pretty fantastic year! I keep putting off this blog post, because no matter how hard I try to make it perfect, it doesn't happen. So instead of thinking about it, I'm just going to type. I'm going to type everything I'm thinking and hope it doesn't sound like I'm babbling on about our anniversary.

If I could use 3 words to describe the last year, it would be: Marriage freakin' rocks.
Seriously.
It's so fun.
We've had it really good- I mean reallllly good. Alot of people go on and on about how ''the first year of marriage is the hardest'' but whoever said that, obviously didn't know me and Shawn. I don't know if it's because we've actually known each other for a long time, or that we are both so easy going- but seriously marriage has been easy.

Were there things we had to get used to?? Yes. Maybe like Shawn's dirty socks all over the floor. Or piles and piles of hair, or like Shawn would say it "I LIVE IN A HOUSE OF HAIR''. And yes paying bills suck, no air conditioning sucks, paying for groceries suck, but at the same time it's so fun going through these things with your best friend. So like I said, YES there are things that are hard to get used to, but at the same time I wouldn't use the word ''hard''. It's just different. But it's a GOOD different.

Me and Shawn have been living in this cute little basement apartment for the past year, and it's so different. But remember what I said? Different isn't a bad thing!! Not at all. We've had so much fun. So many memories. We have been very blessed to live where we live.We have a fantastic ward, and the whole time we've been a part of the ward be have been in the primary. Doing that with him is so fun.

We both work. But luckily our work schedules hardly ever clash. We usually get home the same time which is AWESOME. I was scared that with us both working and Shawn going to school, we'd never see eachother. But no, we see eachother all the time.

We also have awesome married friends. Even friends with babies. So thats so fun to hang out with them.

I love being married. My favorite thing ever is falling asleep with my best friend and waking up to him every morning. Really, it's the best. I love being lazy with a husband. Cuddles on sunday watching tv are awesome. Cooking dinner, or making Shawn cook dinner -HAHA- is also so fun.

I could go on and on about how marriage freakin rocks. But I'm not kidding when I say this has been the best year of my life. Traveling together, singing together, laughing together, dancing together, cooking together, cleaning together, crying together, EVERYTHING TOGETHER. Rocks.

ANNIVERSARY DATE:
So onto the anniversary date Shawn planned.
June 20. (Friday)
We both worked. I got home around 7 and there were flowers on the table and my favorite dinner made. He is so sweet.

June 21. (Saturday)
We woke up, and Shawn made breakfast. Then we went to Park City for the day. We did the Alpine Coaster and the outlets. And then Shawn had a big surprise for me. There I was, thinking it was going to be a couples massage, candle dinner, I dont know something super romantic. Instead? Ziplining at Olympic Park. HAHAHA. It really was so funny. I laugh at how different boys and girls are. But the Zip line really was sooooooooo fun! And then we went to dinner at one of our fave restaurants!

June 22. (Sunday, our anniversary)
We spent it at my parents house. It was sunday so we couldn't do much but we were together and that's all that matters.
Oh yeah. And i got shawn the coolest gift.
I made him a book on shutterfly of his WHOLE mission. Separated into sectors and everything.

I love my husband. And I can't wait to see what year 2 brings us!
