Thanksgiving Point

Saturday, we took Hadley to Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. They have a curiosity museum for kids and tons of room to run around. So we decided to spend the afternoon there and just let her play. It was darling! She's exhausting though. She needs little friends to play with there because she wanted to keep up with the big kids there and it's just harder. So we didn't stay as long as we anticipated but it was still really fun. Next time, I would totally take my little brother so he can take her on some of the bigger toys.

I also didn't take as many pictures as I wanted. She runs SO FAST.

There is also so much more to do that I didn't take pictures of. There is a rainforest they get to run through. There is a miniature town they get to run thru, that has a movie theater and the kids dress up and put on a show. A laundry mat, a dance studio, a vet's office with stuffed animals, a puppet show, and so much more. 

Life Lately

I feel so disconnected from blogging. I used to love it, and lately I've been feeling like no one really cares to read what I have to say, or look at the pictures of my family. (okay mainly just Hadley). But when I got on today, and looked at the stats, I was overwhelmed with how many views I still have every day. So I'm sorry that every time you've gotten on, there hasn't been anything new. I will try to do better. ( I know I keep saying that ) .

So here's a little update on my life.

End of July, we moved in with my family. We currently live in the basement. It's really nice. And they were nice enough to let us crash here for a little while. Hadley just loves it. Every day she runs upstairs and yells "MAAMA!" (Grandma) or "TY" (my little brother Tyson). She just runs around like a crazy kid and has so much fun. We moved in while we have been looking for a house.

Luckily we were able to find one so fast. We have the best realtor. Not kidding. If anyone needs a good one, please let me know. Shes so easy and fun and not pushy AT ALL. We found a house so fast. It was the 4th house we looked at and as soon as I walked inside, it just felt like home. I knew going into the process, it was going to be kind of a fixer upper. Which I was all for. I have a picky taste and its definitely move in ready-but all cosmetic what I want to do to it. SO follow along. I'll be posting all the before and afters. It'll be a fun journey. We close pretty soon actually. Sometime between November 22-25. Seriously I'm so excited to have a place to call home.

Shawn started a new job and he absolutely loves it. That has been a huge blessing in our lives. He's super busy with work and school but it'll be worth it right? (Medical school is creepin up on us fast)

Hadley is almost 2 guys. TWO. I can't believe it. And I LOVE THIS STAGE. She is my little buddy all day. She's talking a lot more and we can communicate a little to each other and its the best. She is still THE HAPPIEST kid. We just have so much fun together.

Hadley is in gymnastics and its so cute. Its a mommy and me class and its my favorite day of the week. (besides the weekend obviously). She loves letting all her energy out and shes actually really good. She isn't afraid of anything and will just jump around all the time. I knew it was where she needed to be. Guys literally my kid never sits down and I'm not exaggerating. SHE IS A MONKEY. She drains me by 10am. So gymnastics is perfect for her. She does summersalts all the time and just the other day, she managed to climb on the couch, put all the pillows on the floor and do a flip off the couch. Where she learned that, I will never know haha.

Other than that, life is just life. Its getting colder here, which means being outside is coming to an end and I dont know what I'm going to do with Hadley all day. Christmas is right around the corner and this year I couldn't care less about Thanksgiving haha. I mean I love it, but usually I'm the one thats like ''SAVE THANKSGIVING. NO CHRISTMAS YET TIL AFTER''. Yeah not this year. Still love thanksgiving and I'm super excited about it, but I've already been listening to Christmas music and watching movies. Thats the first thing I'm doing once I'm in my house. Christmas is going up!

My cute brother and his girlfriend got engaged and I was lucky enough to be a part of it. Mahala is darling and I'm SO excited for her to be a part of the family. We just click and we are just the same person. So when we are together, its so fun. And I'm so excited to have another sister. Hadley adores her. I mean, run into her arms when she sees her. 

I made a video of their special day, but I'm kind of mad about it? I got there, and realized I brought the wrong lens. I was so sad, but in the hustle of getting everything ready and in the car I just spaced it and didn't grab the lens that I love to video with. Bummer! But I made it work.

Park Playdate

Pumpkin Patch & Halloween

Hi. Sorry I have been so MIA for the past little while. I feel like life has been so busy lately and the last thing I've wanted to do is blog. But now I'm kicking myself in the face for it because I'm so behind. So I'm about to over post.

I love Fall. I love Fall in Utah. The colors changing on the trees, the cold, pumpkin spice everything, and then all the holidays. We took Hadley to the pumpkin patch right before Halloween and she was in heaven. Sad to think last year at this time she wasn't even walking at the pumpkin patch. and now shes this big girl running around with the big kids.

And then for Halloween, Hadley was Little Mermaid. Back story, I bought her a wig. A cute really long red wig. Yeah she wouldn't come anywhere near it. Didn't even want to try it on. So I got red hairspray instead. made her a starfish clip and we were good to go.

Hi

Well for starters, I can't believe the last time I blogged was July 4th. Whoops! A lot has happened since July but I am not about to get into that. Nothing bad! Just a lot of changes! And I just wanted to post these pictures I took of Hadley to share with everyone and brag about the cutest kid in the world!

Yesterday I took some pictures of Hadley for my brother Parker who is serving a mission in Guatemala. It was his birthday and so I thought to send him a picture of her holding a sign. And since I had my camera out, I decided to take some of her playing around the back yard.

4TH OF JULY

We had the best day yesterday! I absolutely LOVE the 4th of July! One of my favorite holidays. Its usually the same every year- parade in the morning, BBQ in the afternoon, fireworks at nights. Its the best. It's crazy to think that Haddy was only 4 months old last year. So this year we were excited because she was actually able to enjoy it!
